WBN’S SEMIANNUAL GLOBAL CONFERENCE TO BRING 200 MEMBERS, INSURERS & CLIENTS TOGETHER IN SINGAPORE FOR 3 DAYS OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, October 7, 2016—Worldwide Broker Network’s 55th semiannual Global Conference since its founding in 1989 will bring more than 200 members, executives from more than a dozen international & regional insurers, and clients together in Singapore October 19-22 to share best practices in the sales and servicing of cross-border multinational insurance and employee benefits programs.

The conference will include:

  • The 10th semiannual “WBN Speaker Series,” featuring widely known speaker Richard Petty, Ph.D., on the subject of “Competitiveness in the Context of a Rising Asia”.
  • Addresses ranging from “Asia: Minding the Insurance Gaps and Their Global Implications” and “Challenges of Insurance in Asia” to “The Impact of Innovation.”
  • Special tracks for Employee Benefits specialists and the Young Professionals who represent the future leadership of their firms.
  • Presentation of a $10,000 contribution to Camp Vision, an all-volunteer program established in 2003 to assist underprivileged Singaporean youth. The contribution is the 5th in WBN’s “Joining Hands Worldwide” philanthropy program, which began with the Global Conference in Santiago, Chile in 2014.
